TOP RESOURCES

If you’re looking to build a successful online business, there are a few tools that can help along the way!

I’m sharing with you the services and products I personally use (and recommend) in my own business or that I’ve seen my very successful clients using in theirs.

This page has affiliate links. If you click on a link and make a purchase, I’ll make a small commission at no extra cost to you. This extra income goes a long way in helping me provide you with free content on this website, so thank you in advance for your support!

website tools

If you’re going to have your own website, you need somewhere to host that website. I highly recommend Siteground! I have been using Siteground as my website host for every website I’ve built in the last four years and have never had any problems whatsoever, and their customer service is absolutely on point!

For those of us that have no clue about coding a website (aka me 🙋🏻‍♀️), using a page builder is a must! Elementor Pro makes building a website so, so easy. I would literally be lost without it. I created this very website myself using Elementor Pro and the Ocean WP theme on WordPress.

Alternatives to WordPress

If you’re not quite ready to fully build out your own website and need something with less of a learning curve, I can recommend the following:

Squarespace

Wix

ADMIN TOOLS

Calendly is a simple scheduling tool for online businesses that eliminates the exhausting email back and forth.  It will save you time and help streamline your client onboarding process, so you can provide an excellent service and increase your sales!

building an email list

There are a lot of good email service providers out there at the moment, but FloDesk is my current favourite. FloDesk is $38 a month no matter how many subscribers you have (in other words, you’re not penalised for growing your audience). It’s super user-friendly, and you can create the most beautiful emails to send to your subscribers.

Get FloDesk for just $19pm for your first year using this link!

creating an online course

A great way to make passive income is by packaging your knowledge into a self-paced online course. An easy way to create your own course is by using Teachable. Teachable has a great free plan that you can utilise if you’re new to designing courses.

THINKIFIC

Most of my course creator clients rely on Thinkific to deliver courses to their students. Thinkific comes with an excellent free plan, so if you’re starting out with online courses, this is a great one to go for.

stunning graphics

If you don’t have a background in graphic design and you’re not the most confident when creating graphics, Canva Pro is the absolute go-to tool for you. Canva is super easy to use and is the only tool you need to create your graphics for your online business. You’ll have access to millions of premium stock photography and graphic elements with the pro version.

Adobe Photoshop is for those ready to take their graphic design to the next level. Design extra special pins and social media posts, create mockups, and much more with Adobe!

social media

If you’re using Pinterest to market your online business, Tailwind is an absolute must-have to be consistent on the platform. Make life super easy for yourself and schedule all of your pins in advance with the Tailwind scheduler. You can also use Tailwind to schedule your Instagram posts too!

If you’re looking to invest in your Pinterest marketing knowledge in the form of a self-paced course, Amy Le Blanc’s Scheduling Shortcuts Pinterest course is the one to go for!

blogging

It took me a long time to upgrade to the premium version of Grammarly, but I don’t regret upgrading one little bit. I’d honestly be a little bit lost without Grammarly Premium at this point. If you’re not the most confident writer in the world or you know that certain lines of text could sound better when writing a blog post, Grammarly Premium is the tool for you.

Save for later!
